My recent work has been an exploration into the simultaneously unsettling and intriguing aspects of insects. Beetles in particular have been my subject. Their volumetric forms, bold colors, and bizarre details have been full of inspiration. It’s given me the opportunity for movement, mystery, and an exciting opposition between creepy and alluring.
