Screening and Cell Biology Research Associate
The biology team of Polyphor Ltd, a Swiss biotech company, is searching a Screening and Cell Biology Research Associate.
Your tasks to support ongoing project on proteases, GPCRs and other cell surface receptors as well as ion channels; to develop, optimize and execute high throughput screening assays for identification, characterization and optimization of lead compounds; to establish and run cell-based assays for hit confirmation; apply cell-based and biomolecular technologies for our drug discovery (Ca-Flux, ligand binding, ELISA, luminescence; fluorescence based assays); and analysis and edition of written reports in English.
You have a degree of laboratory technician, industrial engineer biochemistry/ biotechnology or equivalent. Industrial lab experience in cell biology & screening technologies (fluorescence, luminescence, radiometric methods) is a highly desirable asset. You are strongly committed to quality, accuracy and technical details. You are a team player, independent, self-motivated with knowledge in English (optional German or French). The appointment is for one year (possibility of extension).
